According to Korean Site ET NEWS , Samsung is soon set to Launch an Manmoth 12" Inch NOTE and possibly by the next month Samsung would start producing LCD panels for it from Samsung and Sharp .
The resolution of panel supplied by the two display makers are known to be WQXGA class with 2,560x1,600 pixels, clearer than the full HD displays. Especially, Sharp is going to produce those panels using IGZO, Indum-Gallium Zinc Oxide, panel.
Like all the NOTE's , this will too be with and S-Pen Stylus and bunch of S-pen based Apps .According to them Samsung started working with this manmoth project in Mid-2012 , but with the schedule of some other Notes' it almost delayed the project until now .
With this , Samsung is almost aiming in both notebook PC and smartpad markets with the 12.2 inch smartpad. Since the 12.2 inch smartpads are relatively cheaper than the notebooks and may come with the S-Pen it may be soon a major power in upcoming future.
And when Samsung is working out with it , where is Apple ? The interesting fact is that Apple is also aiming at the markets with their 12" inch device currently dubbed as " Maxi " aiming to launch next year . But as the current market status going on Samsung is predicted to an early launch than of Apple's . But surely it would be another interesting round to see the Patent Wars going On!
